"ERASMUS KA2 - from Aesop to La Fontaine" project

In collaboration with the European Community, the City of Marino, the Artemista Association, the Zorro and Toulouse Company (France), Kinoniki Sinetairistiki Epicherisielliniki Symmetochi Neon (Greece) and Bilgi ve Beceri Dernegi (Turkey). "The goal of this project is to (re)discover the ties that have united our countries for a very long time, to realize that we have more in common than in opposition. To achieve this goal, we propose that our young participants prepare a performance based on a common literary tradition: the fables of Aesop in Greece, which gave birth to Phaedrus' Fables in ancient Rome, and then to the very famous Fables of La Fontaine in France. But we will go even further, because Aesop was not born in Greece: he was a slave in ancient Phrygia (now Turkey). We will begin our literary research and performance with the ancient traditional stories of Turkey, from which Aesop was probably inspired. From Turkey to France, from Aesop to La Fontaine, to remind us that we are all brothers."

"A Sud di Penelope" directed by Anna Garofalo and Rocco Capri Chiumarulo

Is necessary to talk again about Ulysses and Pennelope to continue to unravel the archetype of the infinity waiting and pain that it would bring the time: a skein that never reaches its last inch. Always the penultimate and more on credit than a that woman also absorbs the seed of indifference and male vacuity. A thought not reviewed, but that continue to ensure the life and the desire of it. A performance based on a scenic climate sought regardless of the signifier and, in which, the signifier is directly proportional to the faith placed in it. So a theatre that not rescind from the vision and that it places in it and in the music of South transcendent, the effective ancestral value of it.
